Melanie is a passionate supporter of the current emphasis on new works throughout the theatre community. With her extensive experience with commissioned work and passion projects, she loves helping other playwrights at all stages of development. Her process is centered around joy, empowerment, and finding the solutions that are already in your work.

Her eye for structure, especially with regards to set ups and payoffs, subtle metaphor and unexpected comedy, is especially keen with scripts for film and television.

Melanie is available for script consultation and script doctoring for projects in all stages of development. Helping others bring their stories into the world is one of her greatest joys.
