"And that’s the cycle of life, my little dove. Sometimes we're the teeth and sometimes we're the sweetness as we move through Life, Death, and then Life Again."
When Persephone is abducted by Hades, God of the Underworld, she must rely on the kindness of a dead woman and the hope that Demeter, her mother, will come to her rescue before it’s too late—if Persephone eats any food of the Underworld, she will be trapped there forever. As the gods of life and death both lay claim to her, Persephone must discover for herself what possible redemption might be found in the land of the dead.

Persephone, Baby was featured in Sound Theatre Company's Gaslight Project in summer of 2022 and received a staged reading at Taproot Theatre in October of 2022.
